Portal 2 Is Finally Complete

Portal. It was addicting and one of the best games of 2007. Now2, after a long wait and many delays, Portal 2 is finally complete, or so says Gabe Newell. The game is supposed to be hitting shelves in April, as Gabe said during a video conference call.

It’s pretty much put to bed and we’re just waiting for final approvals and to get the discs manufactured.

Will the game live to its expectations? It better, or the fans - which already had to go through many delays- will not be so happy. Now, some are wondering where Half-Life: Episode 3 is. Sadly, there is no word on that yet and Gabe said that the next game they will be developing is actually an RTS called  Dota 2. Crytek Is Aware Of Crysis Leak

You know Crysis 2? The game set to come out this March that will destroy most gaming PC's on the market? Well it's been leaked, and Crytek is swiftly trying to make it look like the leaked version is unfinished and that it has many bugs. Honestly, I don't think many gamers will listen. The game is highly anticipated and gamers - especially PC gamers - want it now. The game is set to come out about a month from now, but even I wouldn't want to wait that long. The original Crysis and Crysis: Warhead were both great games, but now we are looking forward to the next installment in the Crysis universe, and the developers can only hope for the best as to whether gamers will resort to piracy to get their hands on this game early. Mass Effect 2 To Be Best Played On PS3?

People will always have their own opinion. Some will say that it is best played on the PC, and some will say its best played on the Xbox 360. Well it seems that it will be best played on the PS3! You will get a bunch of free DLC, and plus you get to play the game on Mass Effect 3's engine! Here is what Jesse Houston (producer) had to say about this.



“One of the first things you’re going to see is improved graphics. We actually created the engine for Mass Effect 3 and used that to make Mass Effect 2 PS3. So we took the content, the story and all of the other assets that made up Mass Effect 2 and we put it into the Mass Effect 3 engine. We've also gone ahead and made the experience much more solid on PS3,” he added. ” So for example the controls are geared towards the PS3 controller [although] you can switch it back to the old Xbox [layout] if you like. Other things like planet scanning have been improved; we’ve rolled up all of the patches; done a whole bunch of bug fixing.”

Quake Arena Coming To XBLA Next Week!

Bethesda is going to release Quake Arena next week! While they did not announce a release price, I guess it'll got for around 1,200 MS Points. They will announce an official price before release.

Quake Arena Arcade has been in the works for a long time now. The game was originally announced in 2007, and was supposed to be the game that followed Quake III Arena. The game will have multiple modes, and you will also be able to play on XBL.

Tomb Raider Reboot Will Feature A Younger Lara Croft

Yesterday Square Enix announced that the will be a new game in the Tomb Raider series entitled... wait for it... Tomb Raider! Developed by Crystal Dynamics, the new game will be a reboot to the franchise.


Darrell Gallagher , Head of Studio at Crystal Dynamics said “Forget everything you know about Tomb Raider, we are exploring things that have never been done before in this game, this is an origins story that creates Lara Croft and takes her on a character defining journey like no other.”

‘After a brutal storm destroys the boat she was travelling on, a frightened young woman is left washed ashore on an unknown beach. On her own but not alone she has only one goal, to survive.’

This is how the story will start, and Lara Croft will have to find out how much you have to fight to survive...
